Theme: - AN IRISH NIGHT OUT
Date and Time: Saturday, September 22 2018; 7:00 PM
Location: Main Street Tavern Cherry Street
1325 E 15th Street
It’s time to have a real “Ceilidhe”!
Do you enjoy Irish music, can you play an instrument, or can you sing or dance? A Ceilidhe is an informal gathering to share Irish culture and traditions. Folks got together, brought their instruments, voices, humor and dancing shoes to celebrate life. So in that tradition let’s have a real traditional “Ceilidhe”! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
If you can fiddle, play the tin whistle, the bodhram, a guitar, accordion or even the uilleann pipes bring it with you. If you’re a beginner or old hand at it, all you’re welcome. If you have a story to tell that you learned from your parents or grandparents about Ireland, we want to hear it! Did you visit Ireland and want to share a story, pictures or show us a souvenir you brought home!
This is an opportunity to renew old friendships and strike up new ones.
