Club of Tulsa.
The Irish-American Club of Tulsa is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 by Tom Hinchey and Peter Byrne. The purpose of the club is to promote Irish culture and tradition not only in the Tulsa area but throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states.
The Club holds traditional Irish dances, sponsors a traditional band and dance group, and sponsors Celtic concerts. The Club has hosted a visit by the then President of Ireland, Mary Robinson. The club has brought international talent to Tulsa, such as Tommy Sands (Belfast) and Robbie O'Connell (Tipperary). The club also sponsors trips to Ireland.
